From opening an account to sitting in a data room with a founder. Each step below is
something the platform actually asks you for, in the order it asks.
Open an Elevator account.
Choose Elevator at
sign-up. Name, email,
password.
Verify your email.
A code is sent to that address. Nothing else opens until it is entered, and a fresh
code is emailed on every sign-in after that.
Start your membership.
The price and what it covers are on the
pricing page.
Write your thesis.
Your firm or name, investor type, where you are based, the sectors and stages you
back, and your ticket range. This is the filter the discovery feed runs on —
until it is saved there is nothing to match you against, so nothing appears.
Browse Discover Companies.
Every founder shown fits the criteria you just wrote. Each card carries a sector,
stage, what they are raising and a Confidence Score, and you can filter and sort
the list yourself.
Read the Confidence Score properly.
It measures how much of a founder's stated information is backed by documents and
public records — not the quality of the business. A thin file scores low
because little has been checked yet, which is not the same as something being
wrong.
Express interest.
This is a request, not a commitment. The founder has to accept before anything
opens; you cannot accept on their behalf.
Sign the NDA in the data room.
Accepting opens a private room with a checklist and a message thread. Confidential
documents stay sealed until both of you have signed — the platform
enforces it.
Run your diligence.
Read the files, use the checklist, ask in the thread. Everything shared stays in
that room.
Worth knowing before you start
ElevateVia does not advise. We verify and introduce. No member is ranked
or put forward as a better prospect than another, and nothing on the platform is a
view on whether to put money in.
We are not in the transaction. ElevateVia does not hold funds, take a
commission on a deal, or act as a broker. Terms are agreed between you and the
founder.
Verification has limits. A checked document proves the document; it does
not underwrite the business. Your own diligence is still the work.
